Due to the intricate and complex nature of the work in gender equality and family law, Musawah had set high standards for the impact evaluation as required by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida).
Pia's expertise, combined with her sensitive approach to asking difficult questions to a diverse range of stakeholders, provided invaluable insights that have allowed us to better assess our areas of strength and opportunities.
Pia's key recommendations and strategic review of our work provided much needed clarity to help maximize efficiency and achieve impactful results.
Pia's evaluation was outstanding and provided valuable insights into what we need to do to achieve our full potential in our work to fight human trafficking. Pia's thorough analysis and insightful recommendations have given us a clear roadmap for improvement. The Theory of Change / Logic Model workshop was incredibly valuable, offering clear and practical knowledge I could apply immediately. The relevant case studies encouraged deep reflection on how these concepts fit within our organisation, providing an opportunity to practice and apply what I learned. As someone responsible for NGO engagement and capacity building, this workshop not only benefited our organisation but also significantly enhanced my ability to support our NGO partners effectively.
Pia delivered deep strategic insight in her independent assessment of The Mekong Club’s programmes and operations. Her unique NGO experience and expertise in stakeholder engagement and impact measurement enabled her to ask the critical questions of our Board and team that have driven meaningful change in our organisation. By providing a structured framework for evaluation, Pia’s actionable recommendations on areas such as monitoring and evaluation, operational policies and talent management will maximise the impact of our activities. We highly recommend Pia for any organisation seeking operational excellence and sustainable outcomes.
I had the pleasure of working with Pia Wong and Marianna Lemus Boskovitch in June 2024, when they led an interactive workshop at BritCham’s ‘Unlocking Social Impact: The Best Metrics for Success’ event. This thought-provoking event explored how to integrate social impact into business strategy, using key frameworks, metrics and impact indicators. Participants learned how to identify where the gaps are on their company’s sustainability journey and were introduced to the Theory of Change. Pia inspired the attendees to think beyond outputs and look at how to measure long term outcomes at both community and societal level. I love Pia’s positive energy, she brings a huge amount of passion to this important topic!
Marianna was a trusted project leader, balancing the process and impact elements of a robust evaluation of public funding programmes. Marianna worked on a time-sensitive, large scale logic model development commission for all of the BFI’s National Lottery funding programmes. It was an enjoyable intellectual challenge to co-develop, and has set us up well for the next 10-years of high-quality evaluations. I can recommend her services as a skilled researcher and project manager who really understands the cultural and creative industries.
